Yacht Charter for the F1 Miami Grand Prix

Race weekend on land, downtime on the water: a crewed yacht as your private base on Biscayne Bay.

Ver en español

The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix usually takes place in early May at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, well inland from the water. So let us be clear: a yacht does not take you to the circuit or give you a view of the race. What it gives you is a private base on Biscayne Bay for the rest of race weekend.

That is how most of our race-weekend clients use it. A morning on the bay before heading north to the track, a sandbar afternoon on the day without sessions, or a dinner at anchor to host guests after qualifying. If you need transport to and from Hard Rock Stadium, we can help arrange car transfers separately on request.

Grand Prix weekend is one of the busiest in Miami's spring calendar, and larger yachts book out early. Some set minimum hours or event rates; your quote will show any event-week minimums. Flying in for the race? Our sister brand Altrove Jets can arrange the private jet. We have no affiliation with Formula 1 or the event and do not provide tickets.

Your race weekend, on the water

Away from the crowds

Between sessions and parties, a yacht on Biscayne Bay gives your group space, shade and privacy that race weekend rarely offers.

Hosting after the track

Bring clients or friends back to the water for dinner at anchor with the skyline lit up behind you.

Sandbar day off

Spend the quieter day of the weekend swimming at Haulover or Nixon sandbar with the water toys out.

Track transfers on request

The circuit is inland in Miami Gardens. Ask your advisor and we will help arrange cars to and from the stadium.

Arrive by private jet

Altrove Jets, our sister brand, can fly your group into a Miami-area airport for race weekend.

Frequently asked questions

Can you watch the Miami Grand Prix from a yacht?

No. The race is held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, which is inland and nowhere near navigable water. A yacht charter on race weekend is a separate experience on Biscayne Bay. It is your private base for hosting and relaxing, not a viewing spot for the race.

When is the F1 Miami Grand Prix?

The Miami Grand Prix usually takes place in early May, with practice, qualifying and the race spread over the weekend. Check the official Formula 1 calendar for the exact dates, then let us know which days you want on the water.

Can you arrange transport between the yacht and the track?

On request, yes. The circuit is a drive from the marinas, and race-weekend traffic can be heavy. Your advisor can help arrange car transfers separately from the charter. Any transfer costs are quoted on their own, and we do not provide race tickets or paddock access.

How much does a yacht cost on Grand Prix weekend?

Regular four-hour rates in our fleet run from $7,500 on the 97-foot Astonish to $22,500 on the 125-foot Never Blue. The 118-foot Tycoon starts at $20,500 for four hours. Some owners apply event rates or minimums that weekend, and your quote will show them before you book.

How early should I book for race weekend?

Book as early as you can, especially for the larger yachts suited to hosting. Many are reserved well before spring. Telling us your exact days and group size early gives your advisor the widest choice of yachts and marinas.

Plan your race weekend on the water

Tell us which days you will be in Miami, the size of your group and if you need track transfers. An advisor will reply with yachts and prices.
